Cloud Service, an exhibition at Printed Matter by Amsterdam-based artist Batia Suter, was ‘a monographic index of clouds and cloud-suggestive forms, both vast and microscopic in scale’. The promotional material’s monotone colour scheme is reflective of the scanned images taken from Suter’s personal library of reference books and encyclopedias. Moreover, the outlined text references the feeling of weightlessness generated by the imagery and newsprint collages running along the walls. In addition to creating promotional material, I was also able to assist with exhibition design, facilitating the layout and design of several large-scale murals in addition to signage and exhibition labels.
